What a grand occasion what a fine affair

Old friends and lost relations with much to share

A garden full of flowers a bridge to cross

Love and all its power, life and all its loss

Then I heard a voice inside it said “it’s time to go”

This is our last goodbye

 

What was I expecting, Fireworks

A plane pulling a banner or dancing girls

No, but I discovered a plain and simple truth

The love you had for others they had for you

Then we took you for a ride through those old streets we know

It takes the dark to make the stars shine x 4

 

Now there’s no more trouble no more pain

No torment and no struggle no more blame

I still go those places were we used to laugh

When I look at our young faces on those old photographs

​We sent you out in style

Then oh hope you enjoyed your show
